History

Our Story

Rengin Women started as a Choir in November 2020 in North London. The choir was created to support women living in the Turkish/Kurdish community, particularly those affected by the isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our aim was to provide a platform for women to connect, share their stories, and find strength in unity through music and other activities.

Our mission is to foster a supportive community for women, particularly those from the Turkish/Kurdish society in London. We aim to combat isolation and provide a platform where women can express themselves, share their stories, and find strength in unity. Through our music, we advocate for women’s rights, celebrate diversity, and promote cultural understanding. We believe in the power of music to heal and empower, and we strive to create a space where women can thrive and grow together.
